The First 11's
Founded and created by The Black Soccer Academic, 'The First 11's' is an online archive that features the earliest Black players in English football.
Our research is the inspiration behind the current First 11 Black Players Exhibition. The exhibition was recently launched by the UK's leading Anti-Racism Educational Charity Show Racism the Red Card.
The exhibition will run throughout 2025 until 2027 via a series of anti-discrimination educational events taking place in football facilities, schools and football clubs around the UK.
