The First 11
Created by The Black Soccer Academic Consultancy, 'The First 11' is a celebration of the earliest Black footballers to grace English football.
Our research is the inspiration behind the current First 11 Black Players Exhibition, that was launched in October 2025, by the UK's leading Anti-Racism Educational Charity, Show Racism the Red Card.
The exhibition will run throughout 2025 until 2027 via a series of anti-discrimination educational events taking place in football facilities, schools and football clubs around the UK.
